What was that you said? Scotland, the last European wilderness with its mountains, islands, castles, and silver sands, is a dream destination for many. It would be a perfect holiday if we could only understand what the natives are saying! Scots and Scottish Standard English, with their peculiar intonation, pronunciation, and unique vocabulary, present a challenge for most non-native speakers. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn commonly used phrases and words and gain insight into the grammatical and phonetic patterns that make the language and dialect of Scotland so challenging.
